Day Itinerary Details
Day 01: Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu we are met and assisted by our representative and transported to your hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Breakfast
We begin our sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley in Kathmandu Durbar Square, the palace of the Malla and then the Shah kings of Nepal. Places of interest here include the Kasthamandap, a medieval rest house said to give Kathmandu its name, which was made by a single tree; and Kumari House abode of the virgin goddess. From here we visit Swoyambhunath stupa, on the top of a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley. After lunch, we visit our third city of the Kathmandu Valley, Patan, which is famous for its art and crafts. Tour highlights are the Shikhara-style Krishna temples; Patan Durbar with the royal baths; and Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, a Buddhist monastery. From here we visit the Tibetan Cultural Center first founded by the Tibetan refugees of the late fifties and now an exhibition-cum-shopping complex of carpets, jewellery and many other interesting souvenirs. Then we visit the most religious place for Hindus, the Pashupatinath Temple, which lies near the banks of the Bagmati River and is the cremation area for the dead. Boudhanath stupa is possibly the biggest stupa in the world and the location of the Tibetan School of Buddhism. We then drive to Bhaktapur, the best preserved of all the medieval cities in the Kathmandu Valley. Our tour highlights include the Palace of 55 Windows, the Golden Gate and Nyatapole, a five-storied temple.
Day 03: Kathmandu – Pokhara
After an early morning breakfast we leave our hotel for Pokhara. This journey through mountain terrain takes around 5 to 6 hours. We arrived in Pokhara and check into our hotel.
Day 04: Pokhara
We leave for important religious and historic sites such as the Bindabasini temple, Devil’s Gorge, Gupteswor Mahadev Cave, Seti Gorge, Museum and the marketplace. After lunch we will do an hour boat ride on Lake Fewa with a visit to the Barahi Temple.
Day 05: Pokhara – Lumbini
We have a morning drive to Lumbini. It will take around 4 to 5 hours to reach our hotel in Lumbini.
Day 06: Lumbini – Tilaurakot – Lumbini
We take to an excursion to Tilaurakot (27 km) to the west, the ancient capital of Kapilvastu and the kingdom of the Shakya dynasty in which family Lord Buddha was born. The ruins of the palace is found here, which clearly shows the gate through which Lord Buddha walked out of his palace renouncing all worldly possessions in the quest for NIRVANA. We return to Lumbini after the day excursion and spend the night at our hotel in Lumbini.
Day 07: Lumbini – Chitwan
We drive to the Royal Chitwan National Park, our destination for wildlife viewing. We arrive at our jungle resort and begin our safari activities almost immediately with a briefing, elephant ride, jungle walks, canoe ride in pursuit of a myriad of flora and fauna including the one-horned Indian rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal Tiger. In the evening we have local cultural entertainment.
Day 08: Chitwan
We continue on our wildlife pursuits with the assistance of qualified naturalists.
Day 09: Chitwan – Kathmandu
After breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu with a journey of 5 to 6 hours. We will arrive in Kathmandu at around 15:00 hours and check into the hotel. In the evening, we have a cultural evening with a traditional Nepalese dinner.
Day 10: Kathmandu – Departure
We are free until transported to the airport.

Day 01: Kathmandu (1300 mts.) Arrival, our representative will meet at the airport and escort to the Hotel, Program briefing at the evening, dinner, overnight stay in Katmandu. Day 02: Kathmandu - Early morning optional Himalayan mountain flight tour. After breakfast start to Katmandu sightseeing including Pashupatinath and Budha Nikanth Darshan, back to hotel and rest of the day is free for shopping and packing, overnight stay in Katmandu. Day 03: Katmandu to Nyalam (3700 mts. - 160kms.) - This is the first day of the Yatra. Very early with pack breakfast depart from Katmandu to China border by reserved tourist coach. It takes about 05 hours. Our agent will complete custom formalities and check into Tibet - an autonomous part of China. After lunch drive to a small Tibetan town called Nyalam. Overnight stay at Guest House. Breakfast and dinner in camp side and packed lunch will be provided prepare by our escorts. Day 04: Nyalam Full day acclimatization - Full day free for excursion of Nyalam city. Day 05: Nyalam to Dongba/ Paryang (4500mts. - 375kms) - After breakfast drive from Nylam to Dongba for about 08:00 hours. Overnight stay at Guesthouse. Day 06: Dongba/Paryang (4500mts. - 335kms) to Mansarovar - After breakfast drive from Dongba to Mansarovar 07:00 hours. Conducting Mansarovar Parikrama by vehicle. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake. This is the first day stay at the bank of the Manasarovar Lake, Overnight stay at Guesthouse. Day 07: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600mts. - 110kms.) - We will choose the special point to take dip in Manasarovar Lake and conducting Pooja, hawan and spiritual activities according to your tradition. Drive around 2.30 hrs to Darchen and overnight stay at Guesthouse. Astapad excursion can be done at extra cost. Day 08: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890mts. - 12kms.) - This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. We should start our journey after breakfast as early as possible. This day we drive up to yumdwari and start walking continuously for about 6 to 7 hours. Horse can be hired at extra cost those who cannot walk. Yak will carry the kitchen untensils and equipment. Overnight stay at mud house or tent on the basis of availability. Day 09: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790mts. - 22kms.) - This day is bit complex journey and we have to pass Dolma-La Pass, which is 5400 meter in hight, The weather is unpredictable in Doma-la Pass and at any time snowstorm can fall. So we try to start our journey as early as possible. In route we can have Darshan of Gaurikund but it is very difficult to go and touch. Overnight stay at mud house or tent on the basis of availability. Day 10: Zhulthulphuk to Paryang - We will Trek down to Darchen, catch our vehicle and Drive to Mansarovar fill up spiritual jaal, later our tour starts back for Kathmandu following the same route and same system applies for all subjects of our accommodation and meal Overnight stay at guesthouse in Paryang. Day 11: Paryang to Nyalam - Drive back to Nyalam, which is the last stay in Tibet part. Day 12: Nyalam to Kathmandu - After custom formalities we will be picked up by Nepal side and continue drive to Kathmandu for about 05.00 hours and check in at Hotel. Day 13: Morning check out hotel, transfer to airport, catch flight for next Destination. After brief introduction with Chinese guide and drivers join up with the fleet of land cruisers waiting for us and drive for Taklakot (Purang)[30 KM -2 hours]. DAY 05: DRIVE MANSAROVAR (CHIU-GOMPA) B / L / D. Drive to Mansarover Lake (120 KM-3 hrs). Upon arrival check into the guesthouse/tented camp. Perform puja, hawan and Dev Tarpan( self arrangement). Overnight at guesthouse/tented camp at Mansarovar. DAY 06: DRIVE DARCHEN B / L / D. Drive to Darchen (30 KM-2 hours, 4,560 m). Upon arrival check into the guesthouse. Rest of the day free at your leisure. Overnight at guesthouse at Darchen DAY 07: TREK TO DIRAPUK B / L / D Drive for about 10 KM. towards the starting point of "Kailash Parikarma", pass the first prostration pointthe Tarboch Flag Pole, the auspicious gateway and the sky burial ground. Stop for the puja at Tarboch Flag Pole and Yamadwar. Finally reach to Holy Mount Kailash Parikrama( Kora) starting point and start parikrama to Dirapuk. Packed lunch will be served on the way. Continue parikrama and finally arrive to Dirapuk (4,765 m). Pay homage and enjoy the view of the superb western face of Holy Mt. Kailash with different changing color at the time of sunset and sunrise (the next morning). Overnight at the camp at Dirapuk. DAY 08: TREK ZUTHUL PUK. B / L / D Start early morning Parikrama and pass through "Dromala pass" (5,610 m) and trek towards Zuthul Puk ( 22 KM / 9-10 hours). Packed lunch will be served on the way. Continue parikrama and finally arrive to Zuthul Puk. Overnight stay at camp in Zuthul Puk. DAY 09 : TREK TO DARCHEN & DRIVE TO MANSAROVAR ( HOR - CHU ) B / L / D Proceed for the last and final day's Kailash Parikrama that ends near Darchen (14 KM / 3-4 hours). Join up with the fleet of land cruiser jeep & drive to Hor-Chu near Mansoravar. Overnight stay at the camp at Mansarovar. DAY 10 : DRIVE TAKLAKOT (PURANG) B / L / D Drive to Taklakot (120 KM-3 hours). Arrive and check into the guesthouse. Overnight at guesthouse in Taklakot. DAY 11: DRIVE SHERA - HILSA/ FLY SIMIKOT - NEPALGUNJ - FLY KATHMANDU B / L / D Early morning drive to Shera (30 KM-2 hours) via Khojarnath Temple (an ancient temple of Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita). From Shera we cross the Nepal/ China border and walk approx. 02 KM to the Hilsa helipad. Take the chartered helicopter flight back to Simikot. After completing the immigration at Simikot proceed for Nepalgunj by domestic aircraft or chartered helicopter. Arrive Nepalgunj & further proceed to Kathmandu by domestic flight. Overnight at hotel. DAY 12: DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU B AM: Visit to Pashupatinath Temple for the Holy water offering to Lord Shiva. Timely check out and departure transfer to the airport for your onward flight. |
